Professional Experience

• In 1976 I began my professional career developing a program for kids with special needs in a public school.  After 12 years I became the Principal of a day treatment school for children with significant behavioral and learning challenges. 
• In 1979, while still an educator, I began my studies in Family Systems Therapy and was involved with an innovative program and treatment center in Somerville, MA known as The Family Center.
• My private practice in family therapy began in 1984.  Visit Health Grades to see ratings from my clients.
• I provide supervision and training for community mental health agencies as well as Graduate Students in social work.
• I am a guest lecturer at the Loyola School of Social Work, Chicago, IL and Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA
